Your Designer Journey Starts Here

We've refined our approach through years of working with aspiring designers. Here's exactly how we guide you from curious beginner to confident creative professional.

The Three-Phase Learning Path

Each phase builds on the last, creating a solid foundation for your design career

1

Foundation & Discovery

Student working on design fundamentals

You'll start with design principles and theory. But here's what makes our approach different – we connect every concept to real projects from day one. Instead of just learning about color theory, you'll apply it to actual brand identities. We've found this hands-on method helps students retain information much better than traditional classroom approaches.

2

Skill Building & Specialization

Advanced design software training session

This phase focuses on developing your technical skills while discovering your design preferences. Some students gravitate toward web design, others toward branding or illustration. We provide exposure to different specializations through rotating workshops. You'll work on increasingly complex projects that mirror what you'd encounter in professional settings.

3

Portfolio & Professional Preparation

Portfolio review and presentation preparation

The final months center on portfolio development and industry preparation. You'll refine your best work, learn to present your design decisions effectively, and understand client communication. We also cover practical aspects like pricing freelance work, job interview techniques, and building professional relationships within Estonia's design community.

Personal Mentorship Makes the Difference

Large classes can leave students feeling lost. That's why we maintain small cohorts of 12 students maximum. Each person gets individual attention and personalized feedback on their work. Our mentors are working designers who understand current industry demands and can provide relevant guidance.

Real Student Transformations

These stories represent the diversity of backgrounds in our programs. Success looks different for everyone, but the common thread is dedication to learning and applying feedback.

"I came from accounting with zero design experience. The structured approach helped me understand why certain layouts work better than others. Now I'm doing freelance work for small businesses in Tallinn while building my portfolio."

Career Changer, Class of 2024

"The portfolio review sessions were invaluable. Learning to explain my design choices clearly has helped in job interviews. I landed my first junior designer role at a local agency three months after finishing the program."

Recent Graduate, Now Junior Designer

"I appreciated that the mentors shared honest feedback about industry realities. They helped me understand which skills employers actually prioritize, not just what looks impressive in a portfolio."
